Putpadhathan and his wife

Putpadhathan and his wife were doing the work of sewing clothes for the gods. In this situation, there seemed to be a perverse desire for Putpadhathan. That is why he had to sew a beautiful dress for Shiva and Goddess Parvathi. He went there and forgot the work that came with the pleasure of seeing Shiva. and spent time worshiping Shiva. It was dark when Shiva received the answer and returned. Only then did the memory come that he had not given the clothes to Shiva and Parvathi. It was getting dark and he decided to sleep on the doorstep of the Kailas. 

The Secret of God 

That night Lord Shiva was telling Goddess Parvathi about an important divine secret. It fell on the ears of the Putpadhathan lying on the doorstep of the Kailas. The next day he went to Shiva and gave him the clothes he had brought and he was blessed. Lord Shiva was angry because he had heard the secret of God, but warned him not to tell it to anyone for any reason because he had told the truth. One day he could not bear the pressure of the Putpadhatha who did not say the reason why his wife asked him many times and told that divine secret to his wife. This was immediately known to Lord Shiva. 

                    

Lord shiva and Parvathi

He cursed Putpadhathan, 

who did not respect his word, to become a theologian and to hang on a drumstick tree on earth, and said that you, who could not keep the secret, would no longer spend your life asking questions, and that the angel who asked the secret would play the harp all night in the forest and disturb the sleep of others. . At that time, a sage wanted to rule the world by enslaving the Vedalam with his powers.

The cruel sage deceived many kings and brought them to the Kali temple and began to sacrifice them. Thus he sacrificed the heads of 999 kings to Kali. Vikramadhitya also believed the sage's speech and agreed to go with him.

Vikramadhitya went to the Kali temple with the Veena musician and decided to stay in the temple hall that night. The sage also decided to sacrifice Vikramadhitya after the puja was over. Then the mesmerizing lute music heard from a distance attracted him. Walked in the direction the music came from. There was a beautiful woman sitting in the dark playing the harp. Vickramadhitya  asked her, "Who are you? Why are you sitting in the forest and playing the veena?

the woman was none other than the wife of Putpadhathan, the goddess who had heard the divine secret. She told her story to vikramadhitya and she took pity vikramadhitya. Their curse was to ask the angel what to do with the coast. Our curse will be removed if my husband and I go to the Kali temple in the forest and worship the goddess. But she cried saying that it was impossible to bring my husband down from that drumstick tree to the Kali temple. Vikramadhitya went from there saying that I do it no matter how big the risk.

" Vedalam, who had been quiet till then, began to speak to Vikramadhitya. "You should not speak a word until we go to the temple, at the same time I will tell a story and ask a question from it. If you do not know the answer and tell it your head will explode and scatter." Their journey began to wake up not knowing what Vikramaditya had to say.

வேதாளம் உண்மையில் யார் என்று தெரியுமா?

தமிழர்கள் பழங்காலம் முதலே கூறிவரும் ஒரு பழமொழி " வேதாளம் திரும்ப முருங்கைமரம் ஏறிறுச்சு" என்பதுதான். பொதுவாக பிடிவாதக்காரர்களுக்கு இந்த பழமொழியை கூறுவோம். விக்கிரமாதித்தன் இந்திய வரலாற்றில் மிகவும் புகழ்பெற்ற ஒரு மன்னனாவார். அவரின் திறமையும், ஆற்றலும் எல்லையற்றவை.

தீவிர காளி பக்தரான விக்கிரமாதித்தன் முருங்கை மரத்தில் தொங்கிய ஒரு வேதாளத்திடம் மாட்டிக்கொண்டு படாத பாடு பட்டு இறுதியில் அதை காளி கோவிலுக்கு கொண்டு வந்தார். இந்த பதிவில் அந்த வேதாளம் யார்? அது ஏன் முருங்கை மரத்தில் தொங்கியது? அது ஏன் கதை சொல்லிக்கொண்டே இருந்தது? அதற்கு சாபம் நீங்கியதா? என்ற கேள்விகளுக்கு விடையை பார்க்கலாம்.

வேதாளத்தின் வரலாறு

உண்மையில் வேதாளம் என்பது தேவர்கள் உலகத்தில் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருந்த புட்பதத்தன்தான். புட்பதத்தனும் அவனது மனைவி தேவதத்தையும் தேவர்களுக்கு ஆடை தைத்து கொடுக்கும் பணியை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தனர். இந்நிலையில் புட்பதத்தனுக்கு ஒரு விபரீத ஆசை தோன்றியது. அதுதான் ஈசனுக்கும், பார்வதி தேவிக்கும் அழகிய உடை ஒன்றை தைத்து கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று

புட்பதத்தனின் தவறு

புட்பதத்தன் தான் நினைத்தது போலவே அழகிய ஆடைகளை தயாரித்து அதனை ஈசனுக்கு வழங்க கைலாயத்திற்கு சென்றான். அங்கு சென்று ஈசனை பார்த்த மகிழ்ச்சியில் வந்த வேலையை மறந்து விட்டு ஈசனை வணங்கியே நேரத்தை கழித்தி விட்டான். ஈசனிடம் விடை பெற்றுக்கொண்டு அவன் திரும்பிய போது இருள் சூழ்ந்துவிட்டது. பிறகுதான் அவனுக்கு ஆடையை ஈசனுக்கும், பார்வதிக்கும் தராமல் வந்துவிட்டது நியாபகம் வந்தது. இருட்டியும் விட்டதால் கைலாயத்தின் வாசலிலேயே படுக்க முடிவெடுத்தான்..

தேவ ரகசியம்

அன்று இரவு சிவபெருமான் பார்வதி தேவியிடம் ஒரு முக்கியமான தேவ ரகசியம் பற்றி கூறிக்கொண்டிருந்தார். அது கைலாயத்தின் வாசலில் படுத்திருந்த புட்பதத்தன் காதுகளில் விழுந்துவிட்டது. மறுநாள் ஈசனிடம் சென்று தான் கொண்டுவந்த ஆடைகளை கொடுத்துவிட்டு ஆசிபெற்ற புட்பதத்தன், நேற்று இரவு தான் கைலாய வாசலில் படுத்திருந்ததையும், சிவன் கூறிய தேவ ரகசியத்தை கேட்டு விட்டதையும், அப்போதிருந்தே தன் மனம் படாதபாடு படுவதையும் கூறினான். தேவ ரகசியத்தை கேட்டு விட்டதால் கோபமுற்றார் சிவபெருமான், இருப்பினும் அவன் உண்மையை கூறியதால் அதனை எக்காரணத்தை கொண்டும் யாரிடமும் கூறக்கூடாது என்று அவனை எச்சரித்து அனுப்பினார்.

சிவனின் சாபம்

கைலாயத்திலிருந்து திரும்பி வந்த புட்பதத்தன் பல நாட்கள் நிம்மதியின்றி தவித்து வந்தான். அவன் மனைவி பல முறை கேட்டும் காரணம் என்னவென்று சொல்லாத புட்பதத்தன் ஒருநாள் அழுத்தம் தாங்காமல் அந்த தேவ ரகசியத்தை தன் மனைவியிடம் கூறிவிட்டான். இது உடனே ஈசனுக்கு தெரிந்துவிட்டது. தன் பேச்சை மதிக்காத புட்பதத்தனை வேதாளமாக மாறி பூமியில் முருங்கை மரத்தில் தொங்கும்படியும், ரகசியத்தை காக்க முடியாத நீ இனி கேள்விகள் கேட்டுக்கொண்டே உன் வாழ்நாளை கழிப்பாய் என்றும், ரகசியத்தை கேட்ட தேவதத்தை வனத்தில் இரவு முழுவதும் வீணை வாசித்து மற்றவர் உறக்கத்தை கெடுத்து கொண்டே இருப்பாய் என்றும் சாபமளித்தார்.

முனிவரின் சூழ்ச்சி

பல ஆண்டுகளாக வேதாளமாக புட்பதத்தன் சுடுகாட்டில் உள்ள முருங்கை மரத்தில் தலைகீழாக தொங்கிக்கொண்டிருந்தான். அந்த நேரத்தில் முனிவன் ஒருவன் வேதாளத்தை தன் அடிமையாக்கி அதன் சக்திகள் மூலம் உலகத்தை ஆள நினைத்தான்.அதற்காக தவமிருந்த போது காளி தேவி 1000 அரசர்களின் தலையை தனக்கு காணிக்கையாக அளித்தால் உன் வேண்டுதலை நிறைவேற்றுகிறேன் என்று கூறினார். அந்த கொடூர முனிவனும் பல அரசர்களை ஏமாற்றி காளி கோவிலுக்கு அழைத்து வந்து அவர்களை பலிகொடுக்க தொடங்கினான். இப்படியே 999 அரசர்களின் தலையை காளிக்கு பலிகொடுத்தான்

விக்கிரமாதித்தன்

ஆயிரமாவது பலியாக விக்கிரமதித்தனை பலி கொடுக்க நினைத்த முனிவன் விக்கிரமாதித்தனின் அரசவைக்கு சென்று காட்டுக்குள் ஒரு காளி கோவில் இருப்பதாகவும், அங்கு வேண்டினால் உங்கள் நாடு வளம்பெறும் எனவும் கூறினான். விக்கிரமாதித்தனும் முனிவனின் பேச்சை நம்பி அவனுடன் செல்ல சம்மதித்தான்.

வீணை இசை

முனிவனுடன் காளி கோவிலுக்கு சென்ற விக்கிரமாதித்தன் அன்று இரவு அந்த கோவில் மண்டபத்தில் தங்க முடிவெடுத்தான். முனிவனும் பூஜை முடிந்தவுடன் விக்கிரமாதித்தனை பலியிட முடிவெடுத்தான். அப்பொழுது தூரத்திலிருந்து கேட்ட மனதை மயக்கும் வீணை இசை அவனை ஈர்த்தது. இசை வந்த திசைநோக்கி நடந்தான். அங்கே ஒரு அழகிய பெண் இருட்டில் அமர்ந்துகொண்டு வீணை வாசித்து கொண்டிருந்தாள். அவளிடம் நீ யார் ஏன் வனத்திற்குள் அமர்ந்து வீணை வாசித்து கொண்டிருக்கிறாய் என்று கேட்டான் விக்கிரமாதித்தன்.

விக்கிரமாதித்தனின் கருணை

அந்த பெண் வேறு யாருமல்ல தேவ ரகசியத்தை கேட்ட புட்பதத்தனின் மனைவி தேவதத்தை தான் அவள். தன் கதையை விக்கிரமதித்தனிடம் கூற அவள் மேல் இரக்கம் கொண்டான் விக்கிரமாதித்தன். தங்களுடைய சாபம் தீர என்ன செய்ய வேண்டுமென்று தேவதத்தையிடம் விணவினான். அதற்கு தேவதத்தை நானும் வேதாளமாக தொங்கிக்கொண்டிக்ருக்கும் என் கணவரும் காட்டிற்குள் இருக்கும் காளி கோவிலுக்கு சென்று வழிபட்டால் எங்கள் சாபம் நீங்கும். ஆனால் என் கணவரை அந்த முருங்கை மரத்தில் இருந்து இறக்கி காளி கோவிலுக்கு அழைத்து வருவது இயலாத ஒன்று என்று கூறி அழுதாள். அது எவ்வளவு பெரிய ஆபத்தாய் இருந்தாலும் நான் அதனை செய்கிறேன் என்று கூறி அங்கிருந்து சென்றான் விக்கிரமாதித்தன்.

வேதாளத்தின் நிபந்தனை

சுடுகாட்டிற்கு சென்ற விக்கிரமாதித்தன் அங்கு தலைகீழாக தொங்கி கொண்டிருந்த வேதாளத்தை கட்டி முதுகில் போட்டுக்கொண்டான். அதுவரை அமைதியாக இருந்த வேதாளம் விக்கிரமாதித்தனிடம் பேச தொடங்கியது. " நாம் கோவிலுக்கு செல்லும் வரை நீ ஒரு வார்த்தை பேசக்கூடாது, அதேநேரம் நான் ஒரு கதை சொல்லி அதிலிருந்து கேள்வி கேட்பேன். அதற்கு பதில் தெரிந்தும் நீ கூறவில்லை என்றால் உன் தலை வெடித்து சிதறிவிடும் " என்று கூறியது. விக்கிரமாதித்தன் என்ன சொல்வதென்று தெரியாமல் விழிக்க அவர்களின் பயணம் தொடங்கியது.
